Gone But Not Formatted Women’s Racerback Tank — Floppy Disk, VHS & Cassette Memorial Tank Top

A moment of silence for dead formats. The floppy, the VHS tape and the cassette, laid to rest, dead but not formatted.

Description

A moment of silence for dead formats.

Three headstones for the media that raised us: the 3.5″ floppy (1987–2011, it saved it all), the VHS tape (1977–2006, be kind) and the cassette (1963–2011, tangled forever). Each one is drawn as clean line art with pixel-font epitaphs and a code-comment send-off. The joke is in the title: in computing, a formatted disk is a wiped disk, so these formats are dead but not formatted.

It’s for anyone who labeled floppies with a Sharpie, paid a late fee at the video store, or recorded the radio onto a blank tape. It works as a nostalgia gift for Gen X and older millennials, retro tech fans, IT veterans and anyone who still has a shoebox of mixtapes.

Printed on the Next Level 1533 Women’s Ideal Racerback Tank, a lightweight, fitted cotton-poly jersey tank with a racerback cut. It comes in 8 dark colors, sizes XS–2XL, and is printed on demand.
