Description
254 of them, between #000000 and #FFFFFF.
In code, black is #000000 and white is #FFFFFF, two hex color codes every web developer, designer and CSS tinkerer knows by heart. Between those two extremes sit 254 more greys, and each one has its own hex value. This design spells that out in a retro VT323 terminal font and adds an eight-step grayscale ramp from pure black to pure white. It ends on a comment line any programmer will recognize: // shades of grey exist.
It’s a quiet reminder that the world, like a good color palette, isn’t binary. Wear it to standup when someone insists there’s only one right answer, to a design review when the debate turns black-and-white, or anywhere a little nerd humor helps.
Printed on the Comfort Colors 1717, a garment-dyed tee in soft, heavyweight ring-spun cotton with a relaxed fit and a broken-in feel from day one. It comes in 14 dark colors, sizes S–4XL, and is printed on demand. It’s a great gift for developers, front-end engineers, UI/UX and graphic designers, and anyone who has ever argued about #222 vs #333.
